Helluva lot of locations!

The past couple of weeks I have been lucky enough to work with Mick twice, and I have to say both times were brilliant. Our shoots tend to be more about have a really good laugh, so getting beautiful images along the way is merely an added bonus!

Mick is a great guy, wonderful photographer and has a seriously great sense of humour! I would recommend him to anybody and can only hope there are many more shoots in the future.
Here are a few snippets from our shoots:

I have also had the pleasure of working with Stephen on location, these locations are very local to me so it was really good getting to know my area better!  If I wasn’t on edge enough about bumping into somebody I knew in the nude, having helicopters unnecessarily changing course in our direction more than 20 times was enough! However, the shoot was great fun and we managed to throw loads of concepts into the good few hours we had.
Stephen is another photographer I have had a excellent time working with, we have already discussed a future shoot and it goes without saying that I would most definitely recommend him! Full of ideas, plenty of breaks provided and also brought along the key to my heart – crisps!
Here are some of our results:

And of course, behind the scenes photos:

Peter in Newcastle

The other week I had a shoot booked with Peter, and it was truly wonderful! I honestly can’t believe how quickly the time went by, and I know that’s a cheesy thing to say.

Peter was quite nervous during the run up to the shoot, and I have no idea why because he was totally in control of the lighting and the images came out wonderful! We already have another shoot in the process of being booked and I can’t wait!

I’d also like to add that Peter prefers the natural type of image so 90% of these are straight out of the camera or just converted to black and white.

Would definitely recommend Peter, he’s got a great sense of humour, and even brought flapjacks to the shoot- a true winner!

Even more Britalicus

After a crappy day filled with bad news from my evil car insurers, I was delighted to receive another bundle of images from the wonderful Britalicus (a photographer I am making room in my diary for many more shoots as I love each and every image sent over)

So, this is me crying over my car insurance:

And in this one I'm wondering whether to sell the car and buy a permanent bus pass:

Oh, and in these ones i'm feeling less sorry for myself:

A sunny day update

After spending the day in the glorious sunshine on location in company of the fabulous Mick, (images to follow) it was a lovely surprise to come home and receive some more images from Britalicus (which I must admit made the generous bar of chocolate by my side taste 50% better)

Looking at the images sent through I had totally forgotten the amount of work we both did in the couple of days available. Here are a few more corkers that I have fallen in love with instantaneously:

Early last week I had some news from Jo Cools, a photographer I shot with back in Holland, about some of the lightpainting we did together.  I am pleased to announce that a couple of these images are currently hanging up in an exhibition:

Finally, to add some colour to my blog don’t forget that the Zippo lighters are still on sale!! Grab ‘em whilst you can folks!

Edinburgh with Britalicus

I had being looking forward to shooting with Britalicus for months and as soon as I did the two days went far too quickly! I had such an amazing time and after previewing some of the pictures before I left I have to say I am more than excited to receive them all!

Nick was so welcoming and I can see why he has such a pristine reputation.  I felt totally at home, everything was prepared for my stay and the food was delicious! I am certain we will be working together again, and I can’t wait already.

We were hoping to do some nudes outside, depending on the weather.  Unfortunately throughout my whole stay it was raining and dull, until of course I was just leaving only then did the sun grace us with its presence as it was too late- typical!

Here are a few images from the couple of days progress, with plenty more to come in due course:

Lovely morning in Leicester

A couple of hours on a Sunday morning shooting with the very hospitable James was great fun.  The time literally flew by, even if we were listening to some sort of techno star wars music!  James had lots of ideas for the shoot and really did make the most of the space and light available.

After seeing some of my lingerie images, James wanted a softer approach, and we used only natural light to create these lovely images:

I highly recommend James, really great guy and a super fast car! I even managed to bump into Ben, from Kasabian, after the shoot as he was nearby, all thanks to lovely James and I am eternally grateful!
