Mr Carter

Well well well, i honestly don't know where to start! Rob and i have been shooting together for a couple of years now and have grown to be more like friends than colleagues in the photography world, despite him living all the way over in Liverpool Wirral, he has supported me through my non smoking quest (hich i have completed woohoo) and been there for when i've needed to rant about certain life issues both photography and non photography related...and sure as anything i get to hear about his problems too which is always entertaining!

Last month (or so, all the dates seem to merge these days) i got the chance to work with Rachelle Summers as well as Rob and we had a lot of fun! Between talking, drinking coffee, messing about with olives and oil... and also taking my all important instax photos we did actually manage to get some shooting done, Rob was glad to discover.

Rachelle is one of the nicest models i've worked with, she is an excellent model with great skills and flexibility so the shoot was pretty amazing - plus she is absolutely stunning.  Ideas flying all over the room with free rein for us all to collaborate i think we made a pretty damn good team!

Hope you like the shots:

Plus, the professional shots ;)

Fleur du Bonheur

Firstly, ever so sorry for stealing Ched53's blog post name - knowing me i'd say something like 'a bunch of flowers and fits of giggles' or something equally as cringe worthy so i thought it was about time i had a sophisticated blog title :)

You can see Ched53's blog here.

This day was easily the most fun I've ever had one a shoot! Shahena, the Make up and hair artist was hilarious, we got along so well and i am seriously hoping we get the chance to work together again.  Her make up skills are incredible and nothing was too much effort or took too long.

I have worked with Aaron a few times over the last two years and it just gets better.  Aaron is one of those guys that you could have a full days shoot with, then just want to hang out. He's so down to earth, really skilled with a camera and full of wonderful ideas i was bursting to try out.

I strongly recommended both of these guys to anyone.
Here are some images from the set :)

Some behind the scenes, i think i already feature but oh well!

A bundle of images and an apology!

Hello fellow blogger readers :)

I am very sorry for the total lack of attention I've been given Secrets of Insanity, I've been lucky enough to head off to Paris for a romantic few days site seeing, then catching up with emails has been fun (not) then i remembered my back log of images i need to sieve through and share with you!

You'll be glad to know after today there is a steady flow of blogs coming through that i will be putting on schedule :)

So, i will start you off with a couple of natural light, not photo-shopped portraits shot with the ever so bloody lovely JRD Photography based in Henley-in-Arden

A few weeks ago, actually more like a couple of months ago i was on my way down to Kent and had the opportunity to work with Socialdisaster, and it was so so much fun! Hop you like the pictures :)

Finally, for today i have some lovely shots by one of my favourite guys - Mick Farrand, who is Doncaster based, but these particular shots were taken in the extremely wonderful, Barlow Studios.

& of course, some funnies:
